Majestic! - Niflrog(a Malazan Nerd)

Outstanding quality in print and paper. The packaging is perfect: light yet very safe for the print. On the work itself, Simonetti is truly a gifted illustrator. This scene, from one of my favorite books, manages to capture the overwhelming emotional load of the entire book, capturing the core of what that scene symbolizes. “The gate, how? Oh my dearest son… oh Anomander”

A superb work of art

Let's split this in two parts: the art and the print. The art is amazing, I really love the super-fine details Marc put into this piece. The multitude of characters depicted, interlocked in combat in those frantic moments (or ages) inside Dragnipur really pop and live within the frame. You can recognize the characters and their role, as well as the impending doom. The print: superb. I have seen such quality only in some expositions, art products and similar. Really amazed and extremely satisfied.
